Catherine Herrera Photography

Cherokee Poet and Beader Kim Shuck invited Catherine Herrera to reflect in photography on the Mission Dolores in San Francisco after learning about her family history in San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Cruz and San Juan Bautists. This assignment was part of Kim Shuck's book of poems about California Missions, both a reflection on the past and a call to transform which is the vision with which these photos were taken by Catherine Herrera. exhibits@catherineherreraphotography.com
