The Spirit Doll Project developed out of an important time in my life, and honors the connection to the Bay Area coast that my Grandparents shared with Dad, with me and I with my son. This is part of a larger project to honor the coastal spirit of California, bringing awareness to marine ecology, and preserving ocean life, such as kelp.
